We are happy to announce the Greater Philadelphia YMCA as the newest member of the Avocado family.
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA’s massive transformative purpose is;
To connect people to healthier lives.
The team saw an opportunity to transform not just its operations, but an opportunity to enrich the member experience and connect with their over 200,000 members. And so in early 2019 the CRM2020 project was born. This digital transformation will streamline back office operations, and front of the house member service, leaving more time for member engagement
The first step in this transformative process was to evaluate platforms that would support transformation, both now and in the future by bringing best-of-breed tools to their current operations while providing the flexibility and extensibility to change and adapt as the organization did. The Greater Philadelphia YMCA chose Salesforce as the platform to drive this change.
We couldn’t ask for a better team to help us navigate these new, exciting waters.
”We wanted to work with a company who was best in class and understood the importance of connecting with our members on a deeper, more consistent level,” said Joseph Collins, Chief Operating Officer. “Salesforce came to us with an amazing breadth of knowledge and a platform that could not be matched.”
With the Greater Philadelphia Y aligned around a clear vision, it was time to find a partner to help execute on this ambitious project. After a rigorous and detailed evaluation process, including multiple rounds of detailed product demos, The Greater Philadelphia Y chose Avocado to help lead them to success with their CRM2020 project.
”This is truly our way forward,” said Shaun Elliott, President & CEO. “Avocado has already partnered successfully with another Y, they understand our complicated matrix and are dedicated to making this CRM work for us. We couldn’t ask for a better team to help us navigate these new, exciting waters.”
Michael Grant, Chief Sales Officer said “This is a massive step forward for Avocado as we continue to grow market share in the US and Canada. As the only recreation and member management platform on Salesforce built specifically for YMCAs it’s a really nice feeling to gain such a well-respected and forward thinking partner as Philly.” Michael went on to say “Philly has strong executive leadership and a clear vision of where they want to go, and we’re very excited for Avocado to play a key role in that journey.”
Now the work begins…
The CRM2020 project is a multi-year, multi-phased project that will leverage an array of Salesforce products such as Service Cloud, Pardot and Einstein Artificial Intelligence all integrated seamlessly with the Avocado application. The first stage of CRM2020 is scheduled for deployment in September 2020, with additional phases deploying throughout 2020.
