Avocado I.R. Launches Today

Today we’re happy to announce that Avocado I.R., our incident management application that runs on top of Salesforce and integrates seamlessly with Avocado Recreation Management, was rolled out live today for hundreds of users that manage YMCA Childcare.

Working closely with Anita Small, Risk Analyst with YMCA of Western Ontario, Avocado I.R. will completely change the way that staff and risk managers input, report and react to all manner of incidents within the YMCA.

When asked about the benefits of Avocado I.R. Anita Small said “I.R. will completely change the way that we work. We have big expectations around how I.R. will improve things for us, such as

  • Increased communication of incidents with supervisors, GM’s and senior management
  • Dashboards to help us identify trends around specific types of incidents and the locations in which they occur. This will help us to mitigate future risks and lower the occurrences
  • Create a standardized input methodology to reduce the amount of variation in input across various staff and roles
  • Decrease the response time of supervisors via the notification system
  • Increased sharing across branches using the centralized reporting
  • Decreasing liability by ensuring we have full records of each incident, the steps taken immediately afterwards, and the resolution and mitigation of reoccurrence.

The list goes on. It’s exciting to be able to easily measure the effectiveness of our risk mitigation strategies and quickly adapt and pivot based on the data we receive.”
